stupid-questionsLet’s face it, there are a lot of first time travelers that when it comes to flying, are completely lost about where to start. This is even more true when they find themselves shopping and comparing cheap airport parking and shuttle rates. The problem is that most of these traveling “newbies” waste time asking all the wrong questions like “How do I get from the parking to the airport” or “do you guys have shuttles?” Stop wasting your own time and the time of the poor souls that sit there and patiently answer your every question, as parking is rocket science. For all you curious george’s that ask all kinds of crazy questions, this post is for you. Here is a list of my top 5 questions to ask when calling to enquire about airport parking.

Question #1) Do I keep my own keys or do I leave them at the lot?

Question #2) How long is the shuttle wait upon return?

Question #3) What is the total cost including extra fees and taxes for the dates you have selected?

Question #4) What is their liability policy and financial obligation if the car is damaged?

Question #5) Is the car under surveillance video or not?

I have worked in the airport parking industry for years answering many questions people have about airport parking. Aside from all the silly questions I would be asked on a daily basis, these questions are actually relevant and help the traveler make sound decisions. Feel free to ask me any questions you might have regarding airport parking in the comments below. I will be glad to help you make a choice in reserving airport parking.
